Dry ice cleaning is used worldwide as a solution for surface cleaning, surface preparation and finishing components in various industries. It is the preferred method because it is non-abrasive, non-conductive, non-toxic and does not produce secondary contaminants.
This document is designed to answer all your questions about iceberg. It will scan everything from solid ice cleaning to what you need to start cleaning.
You will learn that the explosion of dry ice is a method of cleaning the environment and a method of preparation on top that will help you reduce costs, reduce cleaning time and reduce the workload allocated to cleaning projects.
What is dry ice cleaning?
Dry ice cleaning, or dry iceblasting, is similar to sand, bead and soda cleaning in that it prepares and cleanses the area using a high-pressure air conditioner. It differs in the fact that solid ice cleaning uses solid carbon dioxide (CO2) pellets or microparticles, which are elevated at high air intake and surface cleaning. The particles are reduced to touch, lift dirt and contaminate from under the substrate without damage. The hardest ice cleaning method is:
- No-abrasive
- Non-conductive
- Intangible
- No-poison
- Dependence on the environment
The complex ice cleaning process does not produce a second layer of dirt. The harder the ice decreases, or the degree of transition from solid CO2 to CO2 gas, if it interferes with purification. This eliminates the second waste river created by other media explosion techniques. The waste remains waste disposal, which can be swept away or washed away.
Dry ice cleaning was first developed to remove paint and coating from aircraft in the 1970s. This technology has been developed commercially with the Cold Jet since 1986.Dry ice cleaning is also known as CO2 cleaning or cryogenic cleaning.
What are the applications?
It is used to clean many types of faces in the sales process and to create solutions. Operating areas, equipment and finished parts can all be cleaned with dry ice cleaning machine.
Dry ice cleaning has varying degrees on the harsh spectrum (from rough to soft cleaning). The compressed air pressure, hard ice particle size and hard ice feed rate can be adjusted and printed on the floor to clean a soft and understandable surface, such as soft alloys, electric wires and sensors. It can also be printed to clean heavy and solid contaminants, such as asphalt, corrosion and weld slag.
Advanced preparation
Dry ice cleaning can safely remove a variety of impurities from the components, including oil, dust, emissions, fingerprints and more without causing ground damage. Dry ice cleaning is a complex process and eliminates the need for an aqueous or chemical solution when preparing the paint area. Coatings and paints can be applied immediately after cleaning because the surface remains completely dry.
Sections complete
Dry ice cleaner can safely remove flash and burrs from a variety of materials: PEEK, PBT, Acetal, Nylon, LCP, ABS, UHMWPE, Nitinol and more. Due to its unmistakable nature, dry ice leaves no room for injury and no media left. Dry ice cleaning also provides faster and more uniform flash and burr removal features on text mode.
What are the characteristics of a solid ice explosion?
- No-abrasive
- There is no secondary waste
- Dependence on the environment
- No-poison
- Non-conductive and non-conductive
1) Non-abrasive
Dry ice is a soft media and can clean most areas without injury. It can clean solid surfaces, such as electrical appliances, printed circuit boards and plastic molds, without etching, profiling or changing floor dimensions.
2) There is no second dirt
Dry ice sublimates on handling and cleaning the floor, which results in no secondary waste, no residue and no moisture is introduced. This removes some cleaning, secondary waste disposal and other cleaning preparations, such as masking soft sensors or wrapping electronic components before cleaning. Removing second impurities allows the equipment to be cleaned online and still in use.
3) Caring for the environment
The hard ice is used in the dry ice cleaning process made by regenerated CO2 which is collected and recycled from other industrial processes. It does not emit much CO2 or add greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.
It also allows for the removal of harmful chemicals from the environment and eliminates exposure of workers to hazardous cleaning agents. It also does not produce any toxic waste that should be disposed of.
4) Non-toxic
Dry ice is a food grade and is approved for use in the FDA and USDA approved site. It is colorless, odorless, odorless and non-toxic.
5) Non-conductive and non-conductive flame
Dry ice is non-conductive and will not cause rust or corrosion. It also allows electrical appliances to be safely cleaned. CO2 is also an insoluble gas and there is no risk of overheating.
